The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation has formed a committee to study the procurement and use of software and hardware across its subordinate agencies.
The committee will examine systems used by the Department of Survey and the Department of Land Management and Archive, including the Nepal Land Information System (NeLIS) and the Land Records Information Management System (LRMIS).
Scope of the review
The committee will assess the actual condition, use, quality and utility of the software and hardware purchased for the agencies. Its review will cover both the systems currently in use and the equipment acquired for them.
