World Sight Day is being observed in Kathmandu and elsewhere with various programmes under the theme “Love Your Eyes, Protect Your Vision.” The observance encourages people to care for their eyes and protect their vision.
Marked every year on the second Thursday of October, World Sight Day also calls on governments and stakeholders to help ensure access to quality eye care and prevention services.
