Work has begun to reopen the Martadi-Kolti road section in Bajura after it remained blocked for three months. The road connects the district’s eastern and northern areas.
The route has been obstructed since the second week of Asar, when the monsoon season began. The reopening effort is being carried out using a JCB excavator from Badimalika Municipality.
Reopening work underway
Chief District Officer Dorendra Niraula said the work is being conducted in coordination with the Infrastructure Development Office Achham. The effort is focused on reopening the blocked road section.
