CPN (UML) General Secretary Shankar Pokharel sat away from party Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the party's standing committee meeting in Kathmandu on Thursday, in a departure from the usual seating arrangement.
Pokharel took a seat after the vice-chair position. At previous standing committee meetings, the general secretary had sat beside the chairman.
A change from the usual arrangement
The different seating arrangement stood out at the meeting, where Pokharel was not seated next to Oli as in previous gatherings.
