Uday Shamsher Rana has announced his candidacy for the post of general secretary at the Nepali Congress’s ongoing 15th general convention. Rana, a party leader and former president of Nepal Tarun Dal, made the announcement at a programme in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Rana said his leadership was necessary to make the party more dynamic. He also said he could bring all sides into the mainstream as general secretary.
Rana’s general secretary bid
Speaking at the programme, Rana presented his candidacy as a way to strengthen the party’s dynamism and bring different sides into its mainstream. He is seeking the general secretary post in the party’s 15th general convention.
