Tourist numbers trekking to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) in Kaski have risen notably in recent days as the weather has improved and roads along the route have reopened, according to reports from Nepal Press and Khabarhub.
Roads had been blocked by floods and landslides, while continuous rain had affected travel conditions. With conditions improving, trekkers have resumed journeys to the popular Himalayan destination.
Trekkers shift toward Annapurna Base Camp
Some trekkers have also turned to the ABC route after routes in the Manang and Manaslu areas were affected. The shift has contributed to the increase in visitors heading toward the base camp.
The recent rise follows the reopening of access roads and a break in the prolonged rainfall, allowing trekking activity to pick up.
