Tourist numbers in Ghandruk, a popular village in Kaski district, have begun to rise after the Birethanti-Ghandruk road reopened. The route had been blocked by floods and landslides, disrupting access to the village.
With the road now passable, tourists have started arriving in Ghandruk again. Sneha Gurung, managing director of Nirmal Villa in the village, said tourist activity has resumed.

Ghandruk is located in wards 10 and 11 of Annapurna Rural Municipality. The reopening of the Birethanti-Ghandruk road has made it possible for visitors to reach the village after the disruption caused by floods and landslides.
The return of visitors signals a recovery in local tourism activity, although no specific visitor figures were provided.
