Top leaders from several political parties are scheduled to attend the opening ceremony of the Nepali Congress’s 15th General Convention in Kathmandu.
Rastriya Swatantra Party chair Rabi Lamichhane, CPN-UML chair KP Sharma Oli and Nepal Communist Party coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal, known as Prachanda, are among those expected at the ceremony.
Cross-party participation
The attendance of leaders from other parties will bring representatives from across Nepal’s political spectrum to the opening of the Nepali Congress convention. The ceremony is being held in Kathmandu.
