Three ordinances reached the Office of the President on Thursday evening at around 5 pm, following a recommendation by the Cabinet.
The Cabinet, at a meeting held on Wednesday afternoon, had decided to recommend that President Ramchandra Paudel issue the ordinances. Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel confirmed that the Cabinet had made the recommendation.
Cabinet recommends three ordinances
Pokharel said the Cabinet recommended the issuance of all three ordinances to the President. The ordinances were forwarded to the Office of the President the following day.
