Three motorable bridges have been completed along the Kaski section of the Pushpalal Mid-Hill Highway, a project of national pride, easing a long-standing traffic bottleneck for passengers and vehicles.
Two bridges are located at Yamdi Khola in Pokhara Metropolitan City-1, while the third is in Annapurna Rural Municipality. The completed bridges address a problem where a wide road narrowed at a small bridge, disrupting traffic flow.
Improved travel along the highway
The bridges are expected to make travel easier for passengers and vehicles using the Kaski section of the Mid-Hill Highway. With the structures completed, the road no longer narrows at the former bottleneck points.
