Authorities in Tanahun district are preparing to connect major tourist and religious destinations through a jeep safari circuit, building on services currently operating in Bandipur and Aanbukhaireni.
The initiative aims to make it easier for visitors to travel between destinations across the district. Domestic tourism activity in Tanahun has been rising, adding momentum to plans to expand the safari beyond its current routes.
Plan to expand jeep safari routes
The proposed circuit would link tourist spots that are not currently connected by the existing jeep safari services. Basanta Poudel, operator of Bandipur Village Safari, said the initiative aims to connect the destinations for visitors.
Building on existing services
Jeep safaris are already operating in Bandipur and Aanbukhaireni. Authorities are preparing to extend the service to other locations, creating a broader tourism circuit across Tanahun.
