Gandaki Province Chief Minister and Nepali Congress leader Surendra Raj Pandey has voiced support for Gagan Kumar Thapa’s campaign to strengthen the party, saying he will play an effective role in making it more dynamic and capable.
Speaking at a program organized by Nepal Tarun Dal in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Pandey said the party should bring together the enthusiasm of the younger generation and the experience of senior leaders as it prepares for future challenges.
Pandey calls for generational cooperation
Pandey stressed that the energy of young people and the experience of older leaders should complement each other. He said combining the two would help the Nepali Congress become better prepared to face challenges ahead.
Pandey is a candidate for the post of party vice-president.
