Strike by Contract Workers Halts Production at Government Herbal Company

Production has been halted at the government-owned Jadibuti Utpadan tatha Prashodhan Company Limited in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, after most workers in its production section joined a strike. The stoppage began on Ashoj 5, while monthly wage workers have been protesting since Bhadra 24.
