Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal will depart for Tanzania on Sunday to attend the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), scheduled to take place in Arusha from October 6 to 10, corresponding to Ashoj 19 to 23 in the Nepali calendar.
The assembly is expected to bring together speakers from 183 countries. Nepal will present an emergency proposal concerning the Rasuwa disaster at the gathering.

The assembly will run for five days in Arusha. Speaker Aryal’s participation will take place as parliamentary leaders from across the world meet for the IPU’s 153rd Assembly.
