Police in Siraha seized six tipper trucks and one excavator for allegedly extracting riverbed materials illegally in Baladara, Golbazar Municipality-1.
The District Police Office, Siraha, said the equipment was taken under control during a nighttime operation on Thursday. The excavation was reportedly taking place in the Gagan Khola area.
Equipment seized in Golbazar
The seized vehicles included six tippers and a JCB excavator. Police identified one of the tippers as linked to Sahadev Yadav, a local resident of the same area.
The District Police Office said the equipment was seized in connection with the reported illegal extraction of riverbed materials.
