Singer Elina Chauhan has urged media outlets and journalists to stop repeatedly connecting her past relationship and former husband, Bishnu Sapkota, to her present life.
In a Facebook post, Chauhan wrote, “Let me live, let me live in my present,” asking that her current life not be defined by past ties.

Sapkota also issued a statement on social media, rejecting as false rumours that he bought the house where Chauhan’s clothing shop is located and forced her to relocate the business.
The statements came after several days of discussion on social media and in some media outlets about the former couple and the shop.
