Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and former Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana have been elected regional delegates for the Nepali Congress's 15th general convention.
Deuba was chosen unanimously from Dadeldhura district, while Rana was elected unopposed from Ward 4 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City in Kailali. Both were selected through ward conventions held under the party's Deuba faction.
Deuba and Rana selected as regional delegates
The selections place the two leaders among the delegates chosen through the party's local-level convention process ahead of its 15th general convention. Deuba represents Dadeldhura, while Rana was selected from Ward 4 in Dhangadhi.
