Nepali Congress youth leader Shalikram Gautam has announced his candidacy for the post of central member from the party’s Public Relations Committee cluster at its 15th general convention, which begins October 4.
Gautam, a convention delegate from the Netherlands, said he is contesting to help make the Nepali Congress more dynamic and suited to the times.
Gautam’s priorities
His main agendas include:
- Making the Nepali Congress more dynamic
- Enabling voting from abroad
- Implementing dual citizenship for Non-Resident Nepalis
Gautam said these issues are central to his bid for the party’s central committee.
