Salt Trading Corporation has opened subsidised price shops at eight locations across Sudurpaschim Province ahead of the Dashain and Tihar festivals. The outlets are intended to give consumers access to daily consumables at discounted prices during the festive season.
The shops have been set up in Kailali, Kanchanpur, Doti, Dadeldhura and Baitadi districts. Named locations include Dhangadhi, Tikapur, Attariya, Mahendranagar and Belauri.
The subsidised outlets aim to make daily essentials more affordable for consumers preparing for the festivals.
