Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Amresh Kumar Singh has sharply criticised Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa in a social media comment made as the Congress general convention got underway. Singh said that celebrating the party’s history was not enough and called on its leadership to accept responsibility for its present condition.
Singh’s criticism of Congress leadership
Singh also alleged that those who left the Nepali Congress were forced out by the party’s leadership, rather than choosing to leave on their own.
His remarks were directed at Thapa during the party convention, as Singh questioned the leadership’s focus on the Congress’s past and its handling of the party’s current situation.
