The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has formed a central candidate selection committee for the upcoming local elections. The decision was made at a party central committee meeting chaired by President Rabi Lamichhane at the party’s central office in Banasthali on Saturday.
General Secretary Bipin Acharya will coordinate the committee. Its seven members are Milan Limbu, Rahbar Ansari, Tosima Karki, Kabindra Burlakoti, Sushant Baidik, Tashi Lhajom and Janak Singh Dhami.
Committee to represent all seven provinces
RSP spokesperson Jagdish Kharel said all seven provinces will be represented on the committee. The body will oversee the party’s candidate selection process for the upcoming local elections.
