Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) parliamentary party leader Gyan Bahadur Shahi questioned the government’s performance over its first six months during Friday’s House of Representatives meeting in Kathmandu. He warned the ruling side against delaying action against corruption and criminals.
Shahi said the RPP was a supporter of the government, not its servant. He pledged unconditional support if the government set aside a spirit of revenge and pursued concrete policies on good governance and employment.
RPP’s position on government action
Shahi called on the government to move beyond promises and take action against those involved in corruption and criminal activity. He said the RPP was prepared to support the ruling side if it took that approach.
The remarks came as he assessed the government’s performance over its first six months in office. Read more about Shahi’s remarks.
