RPP Chair Rajendra Lingden Says Nepal Has Gone Off Track

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chair Rajendra Lingden said Nepal had entered a “dark tunnel” and gone off track, addressing the opening session of the Nepali Congress’s 15th general convention at Khulamanch in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Lingden argued that the country’s problems cannot be attributed only to individuals. He said the political system and the constitution themselves are also at fault.

Lingden also said the tendency to attack people who point out wrongdoing continues to persist. His remarks focused on what he described as broader problems in the country’s political structure, rather than on individuals alone.
