Ben Gurion International Airport was the main target of a foiled hijack attempt aboard Flydubai flight FZ 1073, which was travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv, according to reports citing CNN.
The alleged mastermind, identified as co-pilot Hamam Al-Hamgami, was subdued by the captain and several passengers on board, the reports said. Israeli authorities are reportedly investigating the incident.
