Relief materials were distributed to 60 flood-affected and at-risk households, including single women, in Dandagaun of Uttargaya Rural Municipality-2, Rasuwa district.
The distribution took place on Sunday and Monday through the Integrated Humanitarian and Early Recovery Programme under Start Fund Nepal, with support from the NGO Start Fund N-Nepal.
Support for flood-affected households
The households were affected by flooding in the Bhote Koshi-Trishuli area. According to Rural Youth Campaign (ROYAM) Nepal Executive Director Lubhraj Neupane, the assistance included relief and winter supplies, as well as drinking water and sanitation materials.
The programme also included households considered at risk, with single women among those receiving support.
