Authorities in Tanahun district have begun reconstructing and repairing public structures damaged by recent floods, the District Disaster Management Committee said.
The floods completely damaged five suspension bridges and partially damaged three others. Some concrete bridges and culverts also collapsed.
Reconstruction and maintenance underway
The committee has started the reconstruction and maintenance process for the affected structures. The work is intended to address damage to public infrastructure across the district.
