Indian National Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to arrest all protesters, saying the opposition would not back down.
In a post on X on Saturday, Gandhi said the opposition would continue its struggle to protect the Constitution and the voice of the Indian people. His remarks came amid protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
Gandhi backs protesting youth
Gandhi expressed solidarity with the protesting youth and urged them to keep up their demonstrations. He said the opposition would stand firm in its struggle.
