Rafting has resumed on the Trishuli River after floods forced the service to halt, according to reports by OnlineKhabar and Setopati.
The Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA) decided to restart rafting after inspecting the river’s current condition, water flow, channels and changes to the rafting route. NARA chairperson Kamal Thakuri said the decision followed repeated studies and on-site inspections.
Inspections preceded the restart
NARA assessed the river and rafting route before resuming the service. The inspections focused on the river’s condition and flow, as well as changes to its channels and route following the floods.
