President Ram Chandra Paudel has ended the current session of both houses of Nepal’s Federal Parliament, effective from midnight on Friday, Ashoj 16. The decision followed a recommendation from the Council of Ministers dated Ashoj 13.
President’s Office spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Raut confirmed the session’s termination. The session began on Baisakh 28.
Decision under Article 93(2)
The President ended the parliamentary session in accordance with Article 93(2) of the Constitution of Nepal, following the Cabinet’s recommendation.
