Nepali Communist Party (NCP) coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said on Sunday that an understanding had been reached to work together with the CPN-UML and other leftist forces.
Speaking at a programme organised by the NCP Bagmati Province Contact Committee in Kathmandu, Dahal said discussions were also underway with other leftist and patriotic forces.
Talks with leftist forces
Dahal’s remarks point to efforts to build cooperation among leftist parties. Reports differed, however, on which additional parties he named alongside the CPN-UML.
