CPN (Maoist Centre) coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has praised Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa for breaking continuity within the party, saying the change could help shape the country’s future.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Nepali Congress 15th General Convention in Kathmandu on Sunday, Prachanda said Thapa had transformed the party. He added that he had long believed Thapa could one day lead the country.

Prachanda also urged Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane to continue breaking continuity, saying the country would be built through such change.
