A team from the Crime Investigation Office seized 21 kilograms of gold in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu, on Thursday and arrested several people in connection with the case, according to Onlinekhabar.
The identities and other details of those arrested have not been disclosed. One report said police acted on a specific tip-off. Another account put the amount of recovered gold at about 22 kilograms.
