Police arrested 20 people for playing cards for money in separate operations across Kathmandu, Jhapa and Banke districts, according to Ratopati.
The arrests included an operation in Gokarneshwar, Kathmandu. Police seized a total of Rs 292,020 in cash and 24 decks of cards from those arrested.
Arrests across three districts
The arrests were made in separate locations across the three districts. The report did not specify the number of people arrested in each district.
