Prime Minister Balen Shah has said disaster management work has been continuing since Bhadra 10 through coordination among the federal, provincial and local governments. He said the government is carrying out the work without compromise.
Shah made the remarks at the 21st meeting of the National Council for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu.
Inter-government coordination
The meeting was attended by representatives from Gandaki, Bagmati, Madhesh and Koshi provinces. Shah said cooperation among all three levels of government has been central to the ongoing disaster management work.
