Folk and dohori singer Pashupati Sharma has been elected unopposed as chairperson of the National Folk and Dohori Song Academy Nepal. The election took place during the academy’s ninth central convention in Bardibas, Mahottari district.
The convention began on Thursday, with candidates filing nominations for various positions on the academy’s new working committee.
