Lalbabu Sah Kanu of Parsa has won the Rs 1 million bumper prize in the government's taxpayer incentive gift programme. His bill for Rs 21,000 worth of Lube Oil was selected in the draw covering the period from Asoj 1 to Asoj 15.
The prize was announced on Friday at a programme held at the Ministry of Finance. The announcement was made jointly by Sum Nima Udash, chairperson of the House of Representatives' International Relations and Tourism Committee, and House members Ganesh Karki and Santosh Rajbanshi.
Taxpayer incentive prize announced
The government programme offers prizes through a draw based on bills submitted by taxpayers. Kanu's bill was selected for the period specified in the announcement, earning him the Rs 1 million bumper prize.
