The parliamentary hearing process for 13 individuals recommended as ambassadors to various countries began on Tuesday in Kathmandu, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
A meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee under the House of Representatives, scheduled for 11:15 am, will distribute complaints filed against the nominees among committee members. The committee will also review the work plans submitted by the proposed ambassadors.
Committee to review complaints and work plans
The committee's meeting will consider two items related to the nominees:
- Complaints filed against the 13 ambassadorial nominees will be distributed among committee members.
- Work plans submitted by the proposed ambassadors will be reviewed.
