'Akshara' opened in cinemas across Nepal on Friday, October 9, 2026, securing a solo release after the screening of 'Tunnel 26: The Curse Beneath the Mountain' was postponed at the last moment by its production team.
'Tunnel 26' had been scheduled to release simultaneously in Nepal and Bhutan. Its postponement left 'Akshara' with an opportunity to screen in theaters nationwide without the planned simultaneous release.
