The Central Election Committee of the Nepali Congress has issued a strict code of conduct for candidates at the party’s 15th General Convention, banning extravagant and physical campaigning.
The convention is scheduled to begin on Ashoj 18 in Kathmandu. The committee said the decision was made as the country mourns and works to recover from recent devastating natural disasters, including in the Bhote Koshi area, where lives and property were lost.
