Nepali Congress Sets Nomination Fees for 15th General Convention

The Nepali Congress has fixed nomination fees and proposer requirements for candidates contesting its 15th General Convention, according to the party’s central election committee.

Candidates seeking the party presidency must pay Rs 40,000 and submit the names of 10 proposers and 10 supporters. Nomination registration is scheduled for Asoj 20, from 10 am to 3 pm.

Nomination fees by position

The committee has set the following fees for key party posts:

  • President: Rs 40,000
  • Central vice-president: Rs 30,000
  • General secretary: Rs 30,000
  • Deputy general secretary: Rs 20,000
  • Central member: Rs 11,000
