Several Nepali Congress leaders have announced their candidacies for general secretary positions ahead of the party’s 15th General Convention, which opens today in Kathmandu.
Tejulal Chaudhary said he would contest for general secretary from the Tharu cluster. Incumbent general secretaries Yagendra Chaudhary and Prakash Rasaili Snehi have also expressed their desire to continue in their respective posts.
Three women have announced their candidacies as well, according to the information provided about the convention.
