The Nepali Congress has extended its 15th General Convention by one day. Party treasurer Umesh Shrestha said on Thursday that the party will cover the additional accommodation and food expenses for convention delegates in Kathmandu.
The convention had initially been targeted for completion by Ashoj 22.
Party to cover additional expenses
Speaking at a press conference, Shrestha said the Nepali Congress would bear the costs of delegates’ accommodation and meals for the extra day. The extension adds one day to the convention schedule.
