The Nepali Congress has concluded its 15th convention across multiple districts, electing new leaders at local, ward and provincial constituency levels. Leadership positions were filled through both unanimous decisions and voting, according to the information provided.
In Pyuthan, Nabil Bikram Shah and another leader were elected as constituency presidents. In Tehrathum, Shri Prasad Karki and Krishna Baskota won leadership positions.
Conventions conclude across districts
The party’s conventions also concluded in Panchthar, Dhankut, Rolpa, Rukum West, Myagdi, Dolakha, Banke, Taplejung, Bajura, Syangja, Udayapur, Tanahun, Bhojpur, Baitadi and Kavre, among other districts.
In Kavre, new party leadership was elected in 12 local levels, Nagarik News reported. In Bhojpur, the convention concluded in eight of the district’s nine municipalities, according to Nepal Press.
The district-level gatherings are part of the Nepali Congress’s 15th convention process, with local party units selecting new leadership through consensus or ballots.
