The Nepal Tourism Board will construct and operate traditional linge ping swings at tourist destinations across Nepal during the Bada Dashain festival, aiming to promote cultural tourism.
The Board's Tourism Heritage and Tourism Development Division said the initiative will be carried out in collaboration with local levels and tourism-related organisations. The planned swings will be set up at locations suited to cultural activities, including sites that receive high numbers of visitors.
Where the Dashain swings will be installed
The swings are planned for suitable tourist destinations across the country, with the Kathmandu Valley among the areas included. The Board has said locations will be selected based on tourist traffic and their suitability for cultural activities.
