The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) and Nepal Telecom have signed an agreement to implement the Information Highway project, which will expand high-speed broadband internet to 194 local levels in Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. The work is scheduled for completion in three years.
The agreement aims to expand telecommunications infrastructure and improve digital access in the two provinces. Minister for Communication and Information Technology Dr Vikram Timilsina and NTA Chairman Arjun Ghimire were present at the signing.
