Nepal recorded 21 disaster incidents across the country in the 24 hours from the morning of Asoj 15 to the morning of Asoj 16, leaving eight people injured, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
The incidents included snakebites, fires, floods, landslides, heavy rainfall and animal attacks. Authority spokesperson Shanti Mahat said 165 police personnel were deployed to support rescue, relief and the management of people affected by the disasters.
