Nepal Rastra Bank plans to absorb Rs 30 billion from the banking system through a one-month deposit collection instrument. The central bank announced the operation as part of its liquidity management measures.
One-month liquidity operation
The deposit collection is scheduled to run for one month. Through the instrument, Nepal Rastra Bank will withdraw the stated amount from the banking system during the operation.
