The Council of Ministers has approved signing a mandate agreement with the World Bank on the Nepal Earthquake Catastrophe Bond, according to government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Dr. Vikram Timilsina.
The decision was among four made public after the Cabinet meeting on Friday. The government also approved an order concerning land registration for people living on Bitouri land and approved prizes for women athletes who won medals at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
Decisions announced after the Cabinet meeting
The Cabinet approved the Committee Formation Order, 2083, to register land in the names of people who have been living on Bitouri land.
It also approved awarding prizes to women athletes who won medals at the 20th Asian Games, held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The government announced that four decisions had been made public, including the measures described above.
