Nepal’s Cabinet has approved accepting a grant of about NPR 100 million from the Norwegian government for a clean energy transition programme in municipalities.
Government spokesperson and Education and Sports Minister Sasmit Pokharel announced the decision after Monday’s Cabinet meeting, along with four other decisions. The approval was reported by Ratopati and Khabarhub.
Other Cabinet decisions
The meeting also approved the second amendment to the Nepal Engineering Service (formation, group and category division and appointment) rules under the Ministry of Infrastructure Development.
Another decision was to send a report on the Gen Z case to the Home Ministry, according to the Cabinet decisions reported by Aja Ko Artha.
