Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East) recorded 277 snakebite cases over two months, according to Keshav Prasad Chapagain, chief of the Provincial Public Health Office Nawalparasi. The cases were reported during Shrawan and Bhadra.
Kawasoti Municipality reported the highest number, with 174 cases. Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality recorded 83 cases, while Devchuli Municipality reported 10 and Baudikali Rural Municipality reported eight. Bulingtar also reported cases, but no total was specified.
